Jul, de son vrai nom Julien Mari, est un rappeur, chanteur et producteur français originaire de Marseille. Né le 14 janvier 1990, il est devenu l’une des figures les plus influentes du rap français contemporain. En février 2020, il est devenu le plus grand vendeur de disques de l’histoire du rap français, avec plus de 4 millions d’albums vendus à l’âge de 30 ans. En avril 2022, ce chiffre est passé à 5,5 millions d’albums vendus.
Jul a débuté sa carrière avec le single « Sors le cross volé » en novembre 2013. Son premier album, Dans ma paranoïa, est sorti en février 2014 sous le label indépendant Liga One Industry.
